He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shubert and Verna Shubert (Cox); his siblings, Richard, Dean Shubert and Sharon Smith; and his sister-in-law Jane Shubert.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Ludwig of Kearney; his children, Stuart Shubert (Hayley) of North Platte, NE and Robin Florell (Kelly) of Funk, NE; his cousin Albin Shubert; his brother Jack Shubert of Elm Creek; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Smith of Grand Island and Phyllis Shubert of Elm Creek. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
