Downing of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wilson and Ruth Wilson (Oliverius); and her sisters, Nancy Larsen and Diane Duren. She is survived by: her husband Lorin Downing; her sons, Rob Downing (Aimee) of Mooresville, NC and Brian Downing of Kearney; her brother Bob Wilson (Patty) of Kearney; and her grandchildren, Connor and Claire Downing. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kay's memory to Prince of Peace Catholic Church or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
