He was predeceased by: his son Steve; and his brothers, Jerry and Marvin. He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa and Betsy; his wife Ruth Alexander; his grandson Lance Rall (Adrienne); his children, Aurelia, Aidan, Declan (Kearney), Logan Rall (Theresa), Jack, Sage (Waverly) and Erin Burr (Kearney); his daughter-in-law Kim; his brothers, Jim (Donna) and Joe Rall (Kearney); and his sister-in-law Sharon Rall (Kearney). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the City of Kearney Park and Recreation Department for trees.
