He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Ransom and Bonnie Ransom (Montgomery); and his brother Jim Ransom. He is survived by: his sister Jackie Mercer (Steve) of Kearney; his sister-in-law Ruth Ransom of Franklin; and his nieces and nephews, Chad Mercer (Angie) of Kearney, Karl (Karena) of Kearney, Jennifer Trompke (Jerry) of Franklin, NE, Patricia Schurman (Ed) of Franklin, NE, Terri Wenninghoff of Franklin, NE and John.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Grace Fellowship Church or AseraCare Hospice of Kearney.
