We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2023, at the age of 78, John O. Detter Jr. of Kearney, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Detter and Marjorie Detter (Erpelding); his siblings, Mary Ann, Danny and David; and his niece Melissa.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Detter (Vickie) of Beatrice and Kevin Detter Sr. (Becki) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Kevin Detter Jr. of Kearney, Amber Detter of Bellevue, Ashley Detter of Kearney, Shelbi Miller and Adam Kehl; his great grandchildren, Mason of Kearney, Kyanna of Kearney, Adley of Kearney, Julian of Kearney, Adam Jr. of Kearney and Zane of Kearney; and his siblings, Terry Detter of Grand Island, Ronnie Detter of Sumner, NE. and Loretta Whiteface of Grand Island. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
