It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Hoeft of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoeft and Clara Hoeft (Horstman); his wife Margaret A. Kuehner; his brother Tom; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Hoeft and Millie Hoeft.
He is survived by: his son Brett Hoeft (Connie); his grandson Justin Hoeft of Kearney; his son Jeff Hoeft (Debbie) of Lincoln; his granddaughter Megan Johnson Hoeft Micek of Omaha; and his brother Don Hoeft of St. Louis.
Memorials are suggested to Stuhr Museum and St. Paul's Lutheran Church, both of Grand Island.
