With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John D. Munsinger of Kearney, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Munsinger; and his nephew Joey Jones. He is survived by: his mother Cheryl Munsinger (Tripp) of Kearney; his daughters, Allia Rose Munsinger and Riley Jo Munsinger; and his sisters, Anne Jones of Kearney, Beth Munsinger of Kearney and Rachel O'Connor (Sonny) of Kearney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
