He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd R. Hartman and Mary Hartman (Hopper); his daughter Catherine; and his niece Amanda Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Sharilyn Kahle (Shari) of Kearney; his daughter Becky Axtell (Aaron) of Minden, NE; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Axtell (Kyle Jauken), Austin Axtell, Mitchell Axtell and Matthew Axtell; his daughter Allison Quiroz (Patrick) of Exeter, CA.; his grandchildren, Kassandra Quiroz, Theodore Quiroz, Luke Quiroz and Owen Quiroz; his brother Larry Hartman (Loretta) of Hickman, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Kahle (Judy) of Texas, Alton Kahle (Cathy) of Kearney and LaNita Wilke (David) of Kearney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
