He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nelson and Alby Nelson (Kubes); and his brothers, Roger, Donald and Barton Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Miller; his daughters, Jodi and Taryn Geiger of Omaha, NE; his granddaughters, Kristi and McKenna Baer of Kearney, NE; his brother Ward Nelson (Barb) of Phoenix, AZ; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Nelson (Don) of Yuma, AZ and Arleen Nelson (Bart) of Greeley, CO; and also, Dr. Gaylen, Mimi Miller of Longmont, CO, Cheryl and Gary Van Ostrand of Tallahassee, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
