It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean R. Reitz of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Dalton, Nebraska, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Holey (Frerichs) and Theodore Holey; her husband Norman Reitz; and her brother-in-law Walter Reitz. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Skeels (Mike) of Osceola, NE. and Norma Smith (Brett) of Riverdale, NE; her grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) of Venango, Abby of Osceola and Clark of Riverdale; and her siblings, Tim Holey (Gail) of Washington, Earling Holey (Susan) of Texas and Maggie Teevens of Wyoming. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
