She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank James and Minnie Turner Eastman; her stepson Larry Teter; and her stepgrandson Steve Torres. She is survived by: her spouse Navy Chief Homer Teter; her children, Dave Teter (Jeanne) of Winter Garden, Florida and Julie Harms (Greg) of Wilcox; her stepdaughter Nancy Stubbs (Bill) of Kennesaw, Georgia; her grandchildren, Katie Sisson (Brian) of Arapahoe, Nebraska, Emily Gardels (Derek) of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Abby Lowe (James) of Kearney, Ben Harms of Kearney, Denna White (Chris) of Roswell, Georgia, Megan Gilmore (Brad) of Winter Garden, Florida and Sarah Ortiz (Tanner) of Jensen Beach, Florida; her stepgrandchildren, Marisa Stubbs of San Diego, California and Bill Stubbs (Jill) of Kennesaw, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Emma, Will, Ella White, Kendall, Ainsley Gilmore, Camden, Cayson Ortiz, Graham, Harper, Millie Sisson, Isaac, Madelyn, Easton, Juliana Gardels, Hazel Lowe and Jacob Stubbs; and also, Larry, Nancy, David and Julie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Jean's honor, and kindly suggested to Holdrege Area Public Library.
