She was predeceased by: her husband John Carnell (Jack); her parents, Paul Schlueter and Vera Schlueter (Hinze); and her siblings-in-law, Jim Ryan and Judy Schlueter.
She is survived by: her friend Bonnie; her brother Jack; her daughters, Debra Ann Carnell (Sherrill Shadbolt) of Thedford, NE, Jacqueline Kay Craig (Warren) of Fort Mohave, AZ, Robin Rae Merten (Jay) of Aurora, NE and Carrie Lynne Stithem (Jerry) of Kearney, NE.; her grandchildren, Toni McFarland (Mac) of Rawlins, WY, John Craig of Rawlins, WY, Jessica Riley (D. C.) of Omaha, NE, Nichole Kelsey (Chaz) of Grand Island, NE, Justin Merten of Omaha, NE, Kelsey Stithem (Mitch Mallett) of Plattsmouth, NE and Megan Stithem of Castle Rock, CO.; and her siblings, Joyce Ryan of Phoenix, AZ and Harlan Schlueter of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, several cousins and family friends.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, The Alzheimer's Association or to the family to be designated at a later date.
