He is survived by: his wife Diane Paist of Kearney; his children, Matthew Carlson of Kearney, Nicholas Carlson of Lincoln, David Klingelhoffer and Alexis Carlson of Kearney; his siblings, Alvin Carlson of North Dakota, John Carlson (Sharon) of California, Danny Carlson (Beth) of California, Dale Carlson (Dee) of Montana, Doug Carlson, Jan Kuebler (Keith) of Kearney, Joyce Voskamp (Dave) of Colorado and Deb Sehm of Alaska; his sister-in-law Jeanne Carlson; his parents-in-law, Gene and Ellen Paist of Kearney; and his siblings-in-law, Jodi Parsons (Tim) of Kearney and Mike Paist of Kearney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
