He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Cooley and Irene Cooley; his wife Maria Morrison; his sister Luanne Winkelman; his brother-in-law Dale Nelson; and his in-laws, Neil and Lenore Morrison.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Cooley (Jessica) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Brooklynn, Addyson, Tatym and Greyson; his son Robert Cooley (Elizabeth) of Kearney; his grandchildren, BreAnna, Aiden, Madelyn and Carter; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Hinze (Bill) of Valencia, California and Glee Nelson of McPherson, Kansas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial has been established in Jim's honor and kindly suggested to the family for future designation.
