He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Andersen and Lola Andersen (Sheen); his son Kirk Andersen; his grandson Blake Andersen; and his sister Betty Judd.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Tagge of Kearney; his sons, Kirby Andersen (Ronda) of Kearney, Chris Andersen (Barbara) of Kearney and Mark Andersen (Heidi) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Michael Andersen (Rebekah), Eric Andersen, Keisha Fries (Brett), Danielle Nathe (Chris), Sarah Franks, Kaleb Andersen and Kayley Andersen; his great grandchildren, Wilder, Willow, Weston Andersen, Londyn, Kellen Fries, Reidy and Camden Nathe; and his siblings, Robert Andersen (Violet) of Gibbon, Don Andersen of Texas, Larry Andersen (Sue) of Gibbon and Shirley Follett (Dean) of Kearney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First Lutheran Church, to Donor's Choice or to the family for future designation.
