It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack L. Jones of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Casey" Jones and Wilma Jones (Hunsley); his wife Shirley Mae Jones; his siblings, Pauline Nash, Alice Jones, Marlene Jones, Phyllis Keasling, Helen Serr and Larry Jones; and his great grandchild Gatt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Byers (Alan) of Council Bluffs, IA, Peggy Leu of Nebraska City, NE, Sharon Jones (Tom) of Omaha, NE and Cathy Bryant (Keith) of Centennial, CO; his grandchildren, Jason (Mindy), Bryan, Christopher (Tina), Sarah (Dustin), Jennifer (Alex), Staci (Justin), Brittany (Matt), Carissa (James), Aaron and Kelsey; his great grandchildren, Emily, Mallory, Cami, Henry, Brecken, Teegan, Ashtin, Kade, Isla, Reese, Riley, Raygan, Tyler, Wyatt and Waylon; his sisters, Ruby Gooden of Mesa, AZ and Beverly Jennings of Pierre, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Davis of Miller, SD and Donna Welch of Pierre, SD.
