She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Dorothy and Helen Dorothy (Zeilinger); her husband Harold Newman; her siblings, Ray Dorothy (Betty) and Alice Cruise (Bob); and her son-in-law Phil Vandevoorde.
She is survived by: her children, Reva Vandevoorde of Wahoo, Danny Newman (Nancy) of Surprise, AZ, Deanna Abbott (Robert) of Grand Island, Rhonda Ahrens (Kirk), Donna Newman of Highlands Ranch, CO and Richard Newman (Jenna) of Lee's Summit, MO. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
