With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene J. Allen of Kearney, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Irene leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Taylor and Ethel Taylor (Sutton); her husband Gerald Allen; her son John Dalton; and her grandson Randy Mattson.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Richter (John) of Kearney, Patrick Jones (Pam) of Kearney, Sharon Veatch (Harold), Diane Dalton of Hastings and Linda Wilkison (Jeff) of Florida.
