We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2019, at the age of 98, Helen Neel (Kearney, Nebraska), born in Cozad, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Hines and Laura Hines (Mundell); her husband Billie; her daughter Sharon Lynn; and her siblings, Dorothy Anderson (Oscar), Anna Mae Wahlgren (Franklin), Arthur Hines (Mildred) and Johnny Hines.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Neel of Honolulu, HI, Kathleen Neel of Kearney, Peggy Keiser (Mark) of Juniata and Patricia Solomon (Randy) of Kearney; her grandchildren, Christi Koester of Lincoln, NE, Todd (Jami), Katie Hash (C. J.) of Centerville, IA, Kent Keiser (Laurie) of Lincoln, NE, Neel Keiser (Angela) of Kenesaw, NE, Sarah Solomon of Grand Island, NE and Beth Rosenthal (Eric) of Kearney, NE; and her sister-in-law Doris Hines of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Interment will follow in the Peckham Cemetery Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church 1020 Lake Ave, Gothenburg, NE 69138.
