Helen L. Nelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2022, at the age of 83, Helen L. Nelson of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Amherst, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Siebke and Ethel Ida Siebke (Wolf); her children, Dale Nelson and Cindy Habe; her siblings, Bill Siebke, Lorraine Hadwiger and Evelyn Jones; and her brother-in-law Alvin Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Carl "Bob" Nelson; her son Keith Nelson (Denise) of Elm Creek; her son-in-law Larry Habe of Ravenna, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Danielle Nelson of Elm Creek, Amanda Lindenstein (Gary) of Kearney, James Habe (Shelby) of Ravenna and Candace Nelson (Delanie) of Los Angeles, California; her great grandchild Gabrielle Limbach; her grandchildren, Avery, Sofi, Connor Lindenstein, Greyson and Hadley Habe; her brother Bob Siebke (Alberta) of Litchfield, Nebraska; and her siblings-in-law, JoAnne Siebke of Casper, Wyoming, Marilyn Ronsick (Bert) of Tucson, Arizona and Ken Hadwiger (Jerri) of Kearney. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Book Signing will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, with the family greeting from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A memorial has been established in Helen's memory and kindly suggested to Kearney Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program; the Williamsburg Cemetery Association; or to the family for later designation.
