With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Geraldine Joan Ward of Kearney, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Geraldine Joan left this world on December 13, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Guthard and Lucy Guthard (Gilmore); her husband Billy Gene Ward; her daughter Joan Hanson; her brother Larry Guthard; and her granddaughter Victoria Joan Hanson.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Ward (Nancy) and Wanda Jack; her son-in-law Vic Hanson; her grandchildren, Isaac Ward (Jessica), Karen Jack (Lucas), Lynn Hanson and Donald Hanson (Kailey); her great grandchildren, Eli and Carson Ward; and her brothers, John Guthard (Elaine) and Gary Guthard (Donna).

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Central Nebraska Veterans Home Chapel (4510 E 56th St, Kearney, NE 68847).

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
