It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Mae Speak of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Lexington, Nebraska, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hofferber and Ida Hofferber (Hatfield); her husband Bill J Speak; her brothers, Donald and Gary Hofferber; her sisters-in-law, Betty and Fran Hofferber; and her son-in-law John Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Todd Speak (Ann) of Debary and Tobie Johnson (Johnson) of Kearney; her brother Bill Hofferber of Kearney; her sister-in-law Jan Hofferber of Riverdale; her grandchildren, Kirk Johnson (Justin Doran) of Rogers, Karlie Hermsen (Dan) of Papillion, Kevin Johnson (Andrea) of Wood River, Ben Speak (Jessica) of Castleberry and Stephanie Darr (Shawn) of Kingsport, Tennessee; and her great grandchildren, Neleigh, Paige, Olivia Hermsen, Allie, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Kasey Johnson, Nicholas, Anna Speak, Kane, Everett, Dani Darr and Zac Doran. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
