Gary L. Gibbons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L. Gibbons of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Gibbons and Irene Gibbons (Fielding); his brother Marlin Gibbons; and his brother-in-law Roger Oliver. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Gibbons of Kearney; his daughters, Michele Baxter (Mike) of Kearney, Carrie Branson (Mike) of Wichita, KS, Shannon Sonneveldt (Jeff) of Wichita, KS and Kassandra Nolan (Brian) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Mandy Hinrichs (Spencer), Alexis Schirmer (Gearg), Austin, Adam Branson, Dylon Baxter, Ethan Sonneveldt and Alex Weiss (Failynn); his great grandchildren, Brynn Hinrichs, Adelynn and Anderson Schirmer; and his sister Brenda Oliver of Kearney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the family for a memorial bench at Windmill State Recreational Area.
