She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Gass and Ella Gass (Kneupper); and her husband Leon Howard Shannon. She is survived by: her granddaughter Lyra Mais; her children, Steve Shannon of Kearney, Gail Mais (Alan) of Heartwell and Jill Shannon of Garland, UT; her grandchildren, Riston, Zander and Connor; and her brothers, Freddie Gass (Charlotte), Jimmie Gass (Brenda) and Ronnie Gass (Connie).
