Though Ellery may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ellery touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Peterson and Hazel Peterson (Harwager); his stepmother Erleen; and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Jacobsen of Kearney, NE; his son-in-law Steve Hotzler of Broomfield, CO; his son Kent (Tierney) of Omaha, NE; and his grandchildren, Gavin of Columbus, MS and Rylie of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by relatives and close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Craig Funeral Home (336 N Nebraska Ave, Minden, NE 68959). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church-Axtell (903 25 Rd, Axtell, NE 68924).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
