She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bluel and Ruth Bluel (Johnston); and her siblings, Wilma Sturgeon of Holdrege, Marjorie Timm of Eustis, Nebraska and Denis Bluel of Denver, Colorado..

She is survived by: her brother Gary Bluel of Sedona, AZ. She is also survived by four nephews and eight nieces.
