It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward J. Axmann of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Axmann and Gladys Axmann (Lammers); his wife Donna Keilig; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Nansel, George Dobish and Jerry Tesmer.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Axmann (John Obermiller) and Jared Axmann (Mona) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Laura Pogge (Joey) of Omaha, Rebecca Weir (Justin) of Kearney and Sam Axmann of Kearney; his great grandchild Emersyn Weir of Kearney; his sisters, Elaine Dobish and Shirley Tesmer of Kearney; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Keilig (Carolyn) of Hastings and Lane Nansel of Kearney.

Memorials are suggested to the Pleasanton Volunteer Fire Department or Grace Lutheran Church.
