We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2021, at the age of 99, Edith Rose Jelinek of Kearney, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Philip Burress and Nellie Burress; her husband Roscoe Jelinek of Riverdale; and her children, Linda Pearson of DeLand, FL, Larry (Alice) of Pagosa Springs, Stuart (Beth) of Overland Park, KS, Elaine Tipton of Kearney, Leon (Maxine) of Broadwater, NE, Paul (Nancy) of Omaha and Lori (Wayne) of Carleton, MI. She was also cherished by 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorials are suggested in Edith's name to the Kearney Police Department or charity of one's choice.
