It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight D. Farmer of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Broken Bow, Nebraska, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Farmer and Lucille Farmer (Allen); and his nephew Marc. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Farmer (Mary) of Fairfield, NE and Elaine Calkins (Doug) of Cumberland, IA; his nephew Jamie Calkins of Corning, IA; his niece Andrea Yearington (Corey) of Clarinda, IA; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Spencer Calkins, Logan Calkins (Zoey), Dalton Calkins, Hunter and McKenna Yearington; his close friend Cammie Pettit-Richmond; and also, Marley and Poppy. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.
