Dorothy J. Stafford Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy J. Stafford (Kearney, Nebraska), who passed away on November 22, 2019 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert W. Stafford; her daughter Karen Stafford Swartz; and her son-in-law Ken Swartz. She is survived by: her children, Keith Stafford (Julie) of Kearney and Kerry Allen (Jim) of Riverdale, NE; her grandchildren, Kirk Swartz of Omaha, Kara Swartz of Omaha, Matthew Stafford of Kearney, Amy Bivona (Jon Vandeventer) of Kenesaw, NE, Daniel Stafford (Crystal) of Northville, MI, Blake Bivona (Stacy) of Kearney and Michael Stafford (Mary) of Overland Park, KS; her great grandchildren, Kodi Swartz, Lauryn Kenning, Jamison Stafford, Harrison Stafford, Cash Bivona, Vinny Bivona and Georgia Stafford; her siblings, Carol Gearheart of Littleton, CO, Evelyn Bloomer of Phoenix, AZ, Wayne Trimble (Dorothy) of Kearney and Bruce Trimble (Carol) of Kalispell, MT; and her sister-in-law Marcia Trimble of Kearney. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a member of the Altar Committee for many years making monthly calls to ensure donations of flowers for the altar at church services.
