With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dora R. Day of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on July 25, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Patrick E. and Charles Homer Rea; her sisters, Maxine Zimmer and Opal Anderson; her niece Gail Gardner; her nephew Tyler Anderson; and her cousin Fern Bieck.
She is survived by: her former husband C. Homer Rea; and her close friends, Kelly, Jim Shada and Fern Shea. She is also survived by her great nephews, numerous second cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church, Daughters of the Revolutionary War, or donor's choice.
