With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna L. Schmidt of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on June 11, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay E. Miller and Hazel W. Miller (Barackman); and her daughter Alma Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband John Schmidt of Kearney; her daughters, Linda Erickson (Mike) of Cozad, Jo Ludden (Kerry) of Kearney and Jean Tuder (Roger) of Gravois Mills, MO; her grandchildren, Chad, Lindsay Erickson, Abbey Jordan, Katie Bishop and Gypsy Whitaker; and her sisters, Maureta Studebaker of Mesa, AZ and Joyce VanPatten (Byron) of Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to AseraCare Hospice, Bethany Home or Donor's Choice.
