He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Albert Lif and Hazel V. Lif (McNeal); his wife Ruth Ann; and his siblings, Harold, Maynard Lif and Alberta Wrage.
He is survived by: his children, Lesa Gates (David) of Parkville and Galen Lif (Lisa) of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Austin Gates, Olivia Gates and Samantha Lif; and his brother-in-law Gordon Bigger, Jr. (Sharon) of Grand Island. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorials are kindly suggested to the Nebraska Children's Home Society, Barbershop Foundation, 1733 Kearney Area Chorus or the Dawson County Relay for Life.
