It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dona L. Schipporeit of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Wood and Ruth Wood (Sommers); her husband Martin; and her brother Dean Wood (Bud). She is survived by: her sister Wanda Jackson of Fort Worth, TX; and her stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Abby Brooke of Lincoln, Audrey Schipporeit of Sumner, Noah Mackeprang of San Diego, CA, Kelly, Andrew Bolin of Lincoln, April Lyman of Lincoln and Jacob Lyman of Abilene, TX.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren/step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
