With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie D. Sheen of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Rockville, Nebraska, who passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claire Asher and Vera Asher (Anderson); her husband Don; her grandson Domonick Linden; her siblings, Marlin Swab and Claire "Sonny" Asher (Dorene); and her brother-in-law Ed Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Debra, Gayle Sheen (Becky) of Wilcox, Nebraska, Danny Sheen (Nancy Lebeau) of Holdrege, Scott Sheen of Fort Collins, Colorado and Deb Linden of Holdrege; and her siblings, Cathy Evans of Loveland, Colorado and Gayle Asher (Mary) of Doniphan, Missouri. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
A memorial has been established in Dixie's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
