He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Gruber and Rose Gruber; and his brother Dean Gruber. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Dr. Lisa Hornick of Wilmington and Seth Gruber; his daughter-in-law Coelette Gruber of Kearney, Nebraska.; and his grandchildren, Rowan, Lizzie Gruber of Everett, Lauren Hornick of New York City and Dean Hornick of Raleigh.
Memorials are suggested to the Eustis Area Community Foundation Fund, St. John's Lutheran Church in Eustis or Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Kearney.
