He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert R. Gooder and Wilma Gooder (Norton); his brothers-in-law, Dean Bonham, John Mueller, Larry Butler and John Fink; and his nephew Craig Bonham.
He is survived by: his former wife Suzanne Blank; his wife Linda Butler Johnson of Kearney; his daughters, Trisha Slocum (Ed) of Franklin, Tonda Mattison (Ed) of Franklin and Amanda Tinkler (Jason) of Celina, TX; his grandchildren, McKayla Schwenka (Dustin), Jordan Slocum (Allana), Alexis Fudge (Nick), Sage Platt (Megan), Abel Tinkler and Ali Rae Tinkler; his great grandchildren, Wesley Fudge, Archie Fudge, Maverick Slocum and Willow Slocum; his siblings, Denny Gooder of Missouri, Connie Bonham Fink of Red Cloud and Janet Mueller of Omaha; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Butler and Barbara Bly.
Memorials are suggested to the church, Franklin Volunteer Fire Department or AseraCare Hospice.
