He is survived by: his sibling Creeks; his son David (Julie) of Fairview, Texas; his grandchildren, Kelly Thompson (Kyle) of McKinney and Kyle Wilmoth (Amna) of Allen, Texas; his great grandchildren, Luke Thompson and Lily Thompson of McKinney, Texas; his sister LaDonna Hostick of Chandler, AZ; and his brother-in-law Dwaine Lauer (Rita) of Fremont. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
