He was predeceased by: his mother Jeanne Pierson. He is survived by: his daughter Eleanor Jeanne; his wife Breanna; his siblings, Emily Galvan (Julio) of Denver, CO, Melissa Gamet (Beau) of Denver, CO, Krystal Richardson (Matt) of Lincoln, NE, Paige Kirby (Tanner Wengler) of Gering, NE and Thomas Kirby (Maggie Moss) of Hamilton, MT; his grandparents, Edward and Betty Pierson of Arnold, NE; and his parents-in-law, Greg and Patsy Kallhoff of Wayne, NE. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services (2421 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847).

In lieu of flowers, memorials for the family can be sent to the funeral home.
