He was predeceased by: his son Conner S. Metz. He is survived by: his children, Susan E. Rogers of Axtell and Howard Metz of Kenesaw; his grandchildren, Belinda Goodsel of Junction City, KS, Robert Metz of Hastings, Karen Rennick (Tyler) of Hastings and Brian McDonald of Broomfield, CO; and his great grandchildren, Kara, Jennifer, Aries, Zoey, Dylan and Lillyana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
