Brad Everett wrote a sympathy message

“Dr. Bauer brought out the best in all. During his time at Manhattan High School he produced beautiful choirs with average talent. Inspired many to continue their passion in music. And provided a firm direction for some of us to straighten up and behave! I still pull out the LP's from our choir performances and listen to them with amazement. Thank you, Dr. Bauer for enriching the world with your love and direction of music. We're blessed Condolences to the family. Brad Everett- MHS '79”
