It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dallas F. Wegner of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Palmer, Nebraska, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dallas Wegner; and his brother Douglas Wegner. He is survived by: his mother LaNelle Wegner (Burke) of Palmer; his son Midlands; his wife Carolyn Helzer; his sons, Brad Wegner of Kearney, Shane Wegner of Kearney and Devon Wegner (Jessica) of Lincoln; his brother David Wegner (Lois) of Palmer; his sister-in-law Kathy Wegner of Palmer; and his grandchildren, Andrew Wegner, Jared Wegner, Luke Wegner, Maddie Wegner, Collins Wegner and Merritt Wegner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Kearney Area Community Foundation or the Central Community College Foundation.
