He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel P. Trompke and Hattie Roudabush (Gawrych); and his wife Helen Trew. He is survived by: his children, Larry (Janet) of Rural Kearney, Deb Weaver of Rural Minden and Pam (David Long) of Austin, TX; his sister Tillie Van Vleet of Elkhorn, NE; his grandchildren, Justin (Carrie Trompke) of Loomis, NE, Jesse (Lindsey Weaver) of Kearney, Chad Wells of Kearney, Lisa (Tom Goldston) of Witchita, KS, Kelli (Steve Carpenter) of Hutchison, KS and Jamie (Kaleb Tucker) of Kearney; his stepgrandchildren, Kris (Becky Pedersen) of Kearney, Jon (Donna Pedersen) of Wilber and Ann (Ben Loibl) of Austin, TX; his great grandchildren, Zach McLeran (Courtnee), Zander Goldston, Reed Goldston, Nathaniel (Devany Hargitt), Wes Trompke, Ben Trompke, Graham Trompke, Tori Trompke, Katelyn Wells, Addison Wells, Brooklyn Weaver and Brandt Weaver; and his great great grandchildren, Nash Hargitt and Anderson Hargitt.
