He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie and Iva; his siblings, Floyd Murdoch (Marie), Paul Murdoch and Maxine Reed (Doran); his brother-in-law Ozzie Purdy; his parents-in-law, Vernon (Slim) and Betty Nelson; and his brothers-in-law, Arlen Maxfeldt and Larry Stanford.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Murdoch of Holdrege; his daughters, Shelly Nelsen of Bertrand, Nebraska and Linda Bialas (Randy) of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Jennifer Weber (Jerod) of Bertrand, Kyla Heller (Dean) of Loomis, Nebraska, Jamie Bialas (Janessa) of Holdrege and Tyler Bialas of Holdrege; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Jerzee, Jillian and Jozlyn Weber of Bertrand; his sister Cleo Purdy of Mission Viejo, California; and his siblings-in-law, Ardyce Murdoch of Cheyenne, Wyoming, June Maxfeldt of Nowalk Connecticut, Lonnie Dean Nelson (Tricia) of Cadiz, Kentucky and Merle Nelson (Sherri) of Union Star, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services and Gatherings will be followed.
A memorial has been established in Dale's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
