She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Bernard and Neoma Mattison (Worley); and her sister-in-law Dawn Mattison. She is survived by: her husband Leslie Vavra of Amherst; her sons, John (Angelica) and Mark (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Ava, Mason and Caden Vavra; her brother Lonnie; her sister-in-law Eadie Mattison; and her brother Don Mattison.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services (2421 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (107 N Cherry St, Amherst, NE 68812). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Kearney Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Amherst Volunteer Fire Department.
