She is survived by: her husband Leslie Vavra of Amherst; her sons, John (Angelica) and Mark (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Ava, Mason and Caden Vavra; her brother Lonnie; her sister-in-law Eadie Mattison; and her brother Don Mattison.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Amherst Volunteer Fire Department.
