He was predeceased by: his mother Becky Bond (Pinger). He is survived by: his father Tom Bond of Highland, KS; his wife Michelle Bond of Kearney; his children, Emma Bond of Kearney and Eli Bond of Kearney; his brother Pete Bond (Deanna) of Wamego, KS; his niece Grace; his sister Jane McCarthy (Justin) of St. Joseph, MO; his nephews, Porter and Hank; his niece Molly; his parents-in-law, Jim and Evelyn Zook of Newton, KS; and his brother-in-law Troy Zook (Sheri) of Newton, KS. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fanning Community of Christ Church (1548 KS-7, Troy, KS 66087).

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
