Cheryl L. Johnson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl L. Johnson of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Robert J. Dickey; her parents-in-law, Clarence Johnson and Vera Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Sedlacek, Tammy Dickey and Vicki Johnson.

She is survived by: her mother Lorraine A. Dickey (Poledna); her husband Stanley Johnson (Kearney); her children, Jody (Sherri) of Weatherford, TX, Jamy of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Jacy (Jeff Cramer); her siblings, Jane Sedlacek (Spencer) and John Dickey (Spencer); and her brother-in-law Veldon Johnson (Spencer). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services (2421 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847).
