He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brashears and Inez Brashears (Lee); his children, Patricia Wells and James Brashears; and his siblings, June Taylor, Betty Mastrocola and Coy Brashears.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; and his children, Charles Brashears Jr. (Marge) and Elizabeth Brashears (Kevin Orsak). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
