She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Brooke; her son-in-law Zac Kavan of Bellwood, NE; her son David; her daughter-in-law Michaela O'Neill of Lincoln, NE; her granddaughters, Brielle O'Neill of Lincoln, NE and Laurel Kavan of Bellwood, NE; her stepgrandchildren, Jaxon Ondracek, Dirkson and Eastyn Kavan of Bellwood, NE; her brothers, John Hooge (Claudia) and Dave Hooge (Pat) of Lawrence, KS; her siblings-in-law, Tom O'Neill, Tim O'Neill (Vickie) of Lebanon, PA, Dan O'Neill (Judy) of North Platte, NE, Mitch O'Neill of Kearney, NE, Bill O'Neill (Jen) of Gretna, NE and Colleen O'Neill of Omaha, NE; her nieces and nephews, Jenea Havener (Marc) of Lawrence, KS, Nicole Beinstock (Scott) of Baltimore, MD, Bridgette Vogelsong (Andy Campbell) of Camp Hill, PA, Camille O'Neill, Olivia O'Neill of Gretna, NE, Joe O'Neill (Elizabeth) of Washington, DC, Sean O'Neill (Kelsie) of Lincoln, NE, Andrew O'Neill of Lincoln, NE, Patrick O'Neill of North Platte, NE and Jack O'Neill of Gretna, NE; and her brother Don Hooge. She was also cherished by eight great nieces and four great nephews.
It was here that she first recognized the life-saving and life-restoring power of organ donation.
