She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Ruf and Margaret Ruf (Lattin); her son Richard Painter; and her brother Ronald Ruf. She is survived by: her former husbands, Carl Painter and Harry Diedrichsen; her daughter Dawn Schoettger (Dave) of Kearney, NE; her granddaughters, Kristin Bland (Cody) of Hastings, NE and Jenna Werner (Jacob) of Kearney; her great grandchildren, Malachi and Grayson Bland of Hastings, NE; and her brother Charles Ruf of Torrington, WY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
